Adobe Genuine Software prior to version 10.1.0.33 contains a privilege escalation vulnerability that allows local low-privileged users or remote authenticated SMB callers to write to a SYSTEM process IPC channel by connecting to named pipes created with a DACL granting FILE_WRITE_DATA to Everyone without enforcing authentication at the pipe boundary. Attackers can connect to the AGSService.exe or AGMService.exe named pipes and write arbitrary data to the SYSTEM-level service message handler to achieve unauthorized privileged access.
